Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Sembalun to Sembalun Crater Rim
Start from Sembalun Village (1,156m). Trek through open savannah grasslands passing POS 1, 2, and 3. Reach Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m) by evening. Set up camp and enjoy sunset views over the massive crater. Dinner and preparation for summit attack.
Day 2: Summit, Lake and Hot Springs
Early summit climb starting at 2:00 AM. Reach the summit (3,726m) for sunrise. Descend to camp for breakfast. Continue to Segara Anak Lake (2,000m). Soak in natural hot springs. Climb to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m) for sunset. Camp at the rim with dinner.
Day 3: Senaru Descent
Morning descent through tropical forest to Senaru Village (600m). Pass beautiful waterfalls and lush vegetation. Arrive by midday. Transfer back to your hotel.
